Have You Seen Marie?, Sandra Cisneros‘ new fable for adults beautifully illustrated byEster Hernández, releases October 2, but we couldn’t wait to give you a heads up. Knopf is keeping it under tight wraps–no advance review copies, no excerpts–but we’ve had an illicit sneak peek and pronounce it exquisite in every way!

Another new book, Pop Art (Art and Ideas Series) by Bradford Collins, “explores the most important works and artists of this explosive movement, and reminds us of its impact on the world today, and argues for its status as an ongoing movement.” Not surprisingly, there’s a nicely illustrated section about Rosalyn Drexler‘s work.”
